Dongsaeng

Hi. My name is Shannen, but here on The Crazy Ahjummas, I call myself the dongsaeng (younger sister/friend). I am a mother of two beautiful children, a girl and a boy, ages 13 and 11 (who I will call my Little Poppers, or LPs for short). My wonderful husband and I have been married for 17 years. We live in the heat of the desert southwest. I have been a blogger now since 2007 when I started my own personal family blog. I enjoy writing for fun but I don't take it too seriously which is probably why I'm not some famous author by now (yeah, that's it, that's the reason, we'll stick with that). I have many varied interests, but mostly my life consists of my family, immediate and extended, and feeding my entertainment obsession in my free time. Someday I'll figure out what I want to be when my kids grow up, but as for now, I relish my job as full-time mother and wife. Since this is a blog specifically about my Korean pop culture interests, I should probably give you my current list of favorites, though understand, this is subject to (and will) change at anytime.

Favorite Drama:I've loved too many to list, but my first love and the one that sealed my obsession was Secret Garden

Favorite Band/KPop group: Big Bang

Favorite Celeb/Idol(s): G-Dragon (my ultimate bias), Taeyang (Big Bang), Kim Jaejoong (JYJ), Kim Woo Bin, Ji Chang Wook, and again, too many loves to actually list them all, but there's a start.

Favorite KPop song: aagh! Can't answer. It changes on a day-to-day basis.  The song that started it all for me though was JYJ's Get Out so it will always hold a special place in my music heart.
