The mighty Sageuk, "Hwajung", is petering towards an end on MBC which means it is time to promote a new drama for that time slot. Enter 50 episode makjang fest "Glamorous Temptation", which tells the story of two woman who fight against each other to succeed in life and love. To give you just a tiny bit of a hint, we go total "Nice Guy" and have the 2nd lead end up the first leads Stepmother (at least that is the rumor around the kdrama chatrooms.)
Usually I wouldn't really focus that much on the children's portion of a weekend drama. However Nam Joo Hyeok and Kim Sae Ron are just to wonderful of a pairing to remain silent. Both are talented actors with a growing list of successful dramas to their credit and will be the focus of the first 10 episodes.
I always love casting news. It is one of those special little events which can make your day or send you into the pits of despair (thinking of you stick girl). And sometimes a pairing gets cast which makes you just sit back and say "Huh. Really? Them?" I think this is just such a casting for me.
