Since all these dramas released promos today, I figured I might as well give our readers triple the fun.  Check out the latest posters and stills from upcoming dramas "Answer me 1988", "Glamorous Temptation" and "Cheese in the Trap".

It has felt like I have been sharing information for this drama forever (It has been around 5 months since Park Hae Jin signed onto the project) but finally we have arrived at the filming stage.

Cheese in the Trap Casts Kim Go Eun

Upcoming tvN drama, "Cheese in the Trap", based on the popular webtoon of the same name, has nailed down their lead actress for the role of Hong Seol - Kim Go Eun.

Way back in November of 2014, Park Hae Jin was rumored to be in talks for the lead of popular webtoon "Cheese In The Trap".  I had actually forgotten all about it since there has been so much casting craziness in the last 5 months.  But it now has been officially confirmed so YAY!  

Kmuse's Musings: More Fashion Fails

I thought it would be a while til I had enough pictures to do another Fashion Fail post.  But never underestimate the ability of Korean stylists to really pick some ugly clothes for the hottest Korean stars.  If you have not read one of my Fashion posts before, I would like to say that the dislike of the fashion or elements of the photograph reflect nothing on the actors or idols themselves.  So please don't hunt me down and egg my house for not liking the look of any certain star.  This is all subjective and just my personal opinion.  

Kang Ji Hwan In GEEK’s June 2014

 He is a very very sexy man.  But the striped purple pimp suit is just not doing it for me.  

Park Shin Hye - Harper’s Bazaar 

Love the hair, love the skirt, love the bag (really love the bag) but then there is that mess of a shirt.  My kids played a game this Christmas where they had to wrap crepe paper around their sibling to turn them into  a Christmas tree.  The effect was very similar to this shirt, which looks like the designer went cutout crazy.  

Ji Chang Wook - CéCi’s June 2014

The first picture is so so, but that brown Hershey kiss hat has got to go.  That hat is all I stare at in the photo rather than Ji Chang Wook.  The 2nd photo's short unitard look is truly bleck worthy.  I like the Jacket and if he had been wearing dress pants or jeans instead I would have really liked the look.  But when you can't tell if the under-piece is all one piece or just ugly Urkel shorts combined with a dress shirt, than we have a problem.

Park Hae Jin - Instyle Korea

I'm pretty sure that poor Park Hae Jin is having an allergic reaction to all those flowers.  He especially looks uncomfortable and frantic in the 2nd photo.

Choi Jin Hyuk - Men's Health's June 2014

Love the color pallet of this photo shoot, love the clothes (looks so sexy in jeans), the one thing that makes me cringe is the bad use of accessories.  Each photo looks extremely awkward and I think it is funny that the picture where he is holding the gun, it gives the impression of a kid playing with a toy gun.  These pictures in theory should have worked, but just didn't.

These two photographs were by far my favorite of the week, if not my favorite of the month.  They are full of interesting aspects from the color, clothes, locations, and movement.  It just all clicks and joined to create something truly beautiful and amazing.

Kmuse's Musings: When Photographs Click

I don't want you all to think that I hate all of the Korean photos.  There are definitely those that make you say WHAT THE HECK??  But there are just as many that I actually love, and some of them even involve extremely busy prints.  For me it is all about the overall visual feel of the photograph.  So here are some of my favorites that have come out in the past month or so.  

Hyun Bin - W Korea (May issue), High Cut vol 124, Cine21

With the release of his latest movie, Hyun Bin has been the golden boy of photo shoots.  Enjoy my favorites out of all his pictures.

 Love the blending of the colors between his shirt and the horse.

 This is a set of photographs where I think the busy outfit really worked.  It added to the classic 1950's feel of the photos.

Lee Jong Suk - CeCi May 2014, Dazed and Confused April 2014

 This one is one of my favorites, I love how the color of the shirt complements the roses behind him.  Also does not hurt that it is one of my favorite colors

 The colors and the symmetry of the photo really make this one pop and frames him well.  Would I want to see this on him in public (no no no no no, please no!), but as a photo it is very eye catching.

 Again a very busy print that really works as a photo.  Gorgeous colors and I like that it is matched with plain white pants so his face and the jacket are the showpieces.

 I love the filter that the photographer used on these photos.  Between that and the clothes they make for the perfect photo shoot.  I personally like this style of clothing on him the best.  Young and dynamic.

Lee Min Ho - L’Officiel Hommes Korea’s May 2014 Issue

 

 I will be honest, I am usually not a fan of Lee Min Ho's pictorials.  They almost always are a little flat for my tastes.  However I really appreciated the layering and colors of this suit on him.

 

Park Hae Jin - Men’s Uno China

 

The primary colors in these photos are amazing! And I love the contrast of the blue in the 2nd photo.  Oh and PHJ is looking his utmost best as well.

First Stills For Upcoming Drama "Dr Stranger"

Stills from the drama "Dr Stranger" were released this week featuring the two leading men.  I was personally ok with this since at least one of the leading actresses (Jin Se Yeon- Bridal Mask, Inspiring Generation) is on my Black list.  Both of the leading men, Lee Jong-Suk (I Can Hear Your Voice) and Park Hae-Jin (My Love From Another Star), are looking amazingly hot and yummy which is a good thing since it has two strikes against it.  1.  It is a medical drama (medical kdrama cliches drive me batty) and 2.  It has Jin Se Yeon and her freaky breathing issues in it playing two different characters.  SIGH..  For an actress that has problems even giving life to one character, I don't see her being successful on making me enjoy two separate characters.  But then just when I consider giving this drama a skip I see these stills and am engaged again.  Let's just cross our fingers that the medical jargon and the bad acting is kept to a minimum and we instead get a lot of drama/bromance between these two amazing khottie actors.
