Twenty Again ep 6: Glad I Resisted the Urge to Chuck My iPad Across the Hotel Room

So I've been a bit MIA while hubs and I were off celebrating our wedding anniversary this past weekend. Of course, I could never leave the world of K entertainment behind me entirely (duh), so naturally I watched these episodes in some of my down time at the hotel. I have to tell you, my iPad narrowly escaped my wrath at the beginning of 6. And my husband may have been doubting his 18 years of marriage to the crazy lady screaming at her screen.

Oh My Ghostess ep 13, 14 & 15: The End is Near

Our romance and our mystery/suspense really ramp it up as we prepare for the grand finale. Our couple has a few "little" things to overcome if they're ever going to be together. Possession, love triangles with dead girls, and an evil-spirit possessed foe/friend/brother-in-law out to get them for starters.

Oh My Ghostess ep 11 and 12: Two-Bodied Love Triangle Gets Complicated

Episodes 11 and 12 bring us a myriad of varied and mixed emotions, especially when it comes to our love triangle. High highs and low lows for our living and non-living girls alike. And some movement with our mystery and resident bad dude thrown into the fray just for kicks.

Oh My Ghostess eps 9 and 10: Dating 2-for-1

Oh my Ghostess indeed! What an ending we had on episode 10, huh?! Hot and heavy, sweet and steamy, and everything else in between. Ooh la and la!

I Remember You ep 2: We Were All Good...Until that Smirk!

Well, hello there! Welcome back! I am hoping/assuming that before coming here, you read Kmuse's take on episode 1. If not, you probably should. Right now would be just fine. It's okay, I'll be here when you get back. I'm very patient, so take all the time you need.

Producer ep 11: Empty Swings at Empty Playgrounds

Aghh! You guys! Can you believe that we're already here? It's finale week for our beloved Producer! Twelve episodes sure makes for a fast drama. Just as we start to get used to the water, it's time to get out of the pool.

Ex-Girlfriend Club ep 9 & 10: Much Ado About Nothing

Producer ep 9: Are You Denser Than a.... ?!?!?

Before I get started, I need to clearly state, for the record, that while I may have frustrations currently with 'certain' aspects of this drama, that I still love it and all the characters in it. I love when a drama can elicit all sorts of emotions out of me, and that's just what this one is doing. Eliciting. All sorts of blankity-blank-blank emotions.

Producer ep 7: Feet Firmly Planted Back on One Ship

Remember how a couple of episodes ago, I was unsure of which "ship" I was sailing in regards to Seung Chan? Whether I was all about the Noona Ship with Ye Jin or the Umbrella Couple with Cindy? Well, I am here to let you know, unequivocally, that I am fully on board the.....

Ha! Did you think I was going to give it away already? Pssh. Nah. We still have an entire episode to discuss first before that. You so silly. We'll get to that soon enough, but first, how about we take a look at some of the finer points of this episode?

Ex-Girlfriend Club ep 8: KISSSSSSSSSSSSSEU!!!!!!!!

Maybe a *smidge* overboard, but YAYYYY!
And how cute are the little ears and tail sticking up there at the bottom of the screen?
It has been a while since I felt so strongly about a lead couple. I don't know what it is about these two, but man, I really want them together. It is probably because of the friendship that they have and how they really do seem to be soulmates. Whatever the reason, this kiss that we get in the epiview (is it an epilogue? a preview? I still can't decide), makes me want to dance. And makes it hard for me to talk about anything else in this episode, because, frankly, who cares what else happened since THIS is how it ended?! Everything in the episode led up to them finally taking things definitively out of the friendzone. I'm sure that by next episode, something will come up to threaten the relationship and friendzone them again, but it's too late for that. Try all you want writers to destroy this moment for me, it won't work. This is magical and what I've been hoping and waiting for and no amount of created drama, back-and-forth nonsense, or more ridiculous misunderstandings caused by jealous buttinski ex-girlfriends is going to take this moment away from me.

Ex-Girlfriend Club ep 7: Can You Feel the Love Tonight?

Okay chingudeul, I'm going to make this quick because I am dying to get to episode 8 and can't until I recap this one first.

First, I will get my now-customary-I-guess SQUEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!! out of the way. There. That's done. Oh, okay, maybe another (it was a really good episode after all and that ending!).... SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. EEEEEEE. EEEE. This drama is so good! Like so good!

Producer ep 5: That Hand, That Cheating Hand

Welcome back addicKts to this week's Producer recaps. We're so glad you could join us as we unravel and discuss some of the finer points of what is going on with our stalwart KBS employees this week. And address this issue of Kim Soo Hyun's cheating hand.
But we'll get back to that later.

Ex-Girlfriend Club ep 6: Caught!

Forgive me for a moment, but I just have to get this out....

I FREAKING LOVE THIS DRAMA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!*gasp*!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ahem.  Sorry about that. I'll just gather myself here and try to be coherent and less gushy in order to get this thing recapped, but I make no promises that I won't slip back into fangirl mode at some point along the way. Because this drama rocks and there were so many points in this episode that I got gushy and squealy and all that fun stuff, you know, where clear thoughts turn into "eeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!"

Producer ep 3: Poor Puppy PD

Welcome back to this week's first installment of Producer recaps! We've got a lot of ground to cover and this little ahjumma is fighting a wee case of the writer's block, so I'm just going to awkwardly jump right into the recap now without a clever opening line. Ready?

Ex-Girlfriend Club eps 1-5: Let's Get This Party Started!

Well, well, well...this is rather unexpected. I hadn't said anything earlier for fear of jinxing myself (as I often do when I try to bite off more than I can chew), but I had hoped to recap a drama all on my very own in addition to the one I am co-capping with the lovely and marvelous KMuse (Producer). Except the one I had been planning on recapping was Masked Prosecutor, and here I am, changing my mind late in the game. Not that I didn't like Masked Prosecutor, episode one had me very entertained (once I could finally watch it) but, yeah, didn't inspire me as far as writing about it. Too much revenge and politics involved. Blah. This drama on the other hand, this one had me all fired up and just itching to dish with you all. So, I find myself 5 episodes behind the proverbial 8-ball, but ready to take on the challenge of playing catch up because this drama is just that good and totally worth the effort.

Let's get you all up to speed then, shall we?

The Producer Ep 1: Lights, Camera, Action!

And.....we're off! After much hype and anticipation, episode 1 of The Producer has finally aired! Welcome to the first installment of our recaps here on TCA. Kmuse and I will once again be co-capping. So, how much did you miss us? ;) I, for those of us that haven't "met" yet, am Dongsaeng, and I will be the odd one this time around, taking on the odd numbered episodes while my partner in blogging takes the more even-keeled route.

Hyde, Jekyll and I episode 18: I Heard This One Was Good

It's true. I did hear that this episode was good before I had had the opportunity to watch it. That of course was something I had to see for myself. And? Well, we'll have to just wait and see what my opinion was until after the recap ;)

So, episode 18 was kind of Robin's Coming Out Party. Cat is (sorta) out of the bag. It is known to the general public now that Seo Jin and Robin are one in the same, only as chaebol company man/moonlighting webtoon author, not as a split personality. This pretty much makes Ha Na a genius for coming up with a solution in which both personalities can be free-ish to be themselves and where Robin no longer must hide in the shadows. *slow clap* for her and her genius band-aid on the whole situation.

Hyde, Jekyll and I ep 16: Of Boards and Turtlenecks

So, I don't know if you know this or not, but this recap is really, really extra super duper late. The next episode is already out. I just couldn't figure out what to say about this one. Why? Because NOTHING happened. No, really, nothing happened. So, since we don't have a lot to cover plot-wise, I thought I'd start with the most memorable moment of the entire episode and then just go from there.

Did you see the final outfit that they stuck poor Binnie in???

DID YOU SEE IT???

I. CAN'T. EVEN....

Here, let me just show you....

Hyde, Jekyll and I, episode 14: Trying to Play Nice

Have you ever been in any kind of relationship, be it romantic, friendly, or familial, where you maybe didn't quite "gel" with the person, yet you still tried to force it because it was something you thought you wanted? Maybe you scored a date with the "it" guy in school that you crushed on for forever, only to find him incredibly dull and boring? Or maybe a really nice person goes above and beyond to be your friend, but you have to force a smile whenever they are around and consciously make an effort to not keep checking your watch?

Yeah.

That is where I am with this drama. FOUR YEARS! Four years I waited for this man to return to dramaland.
