Breaking Blog Silence

You were probably all hoping I had quit as a Crazy Ahjumma.  Well, sorry to burst your bubbles guys but I am back.  After 6 months of serious health scares for my son, surgery, more health scares, hospital stays, a trillion & one visits to a plethora of doctors, mostly specialists, lots of medicines, extreme stress & fatigue for all in our home, I am happy to report he is doing better.  He has a long way to go but he is no longer starving to death, that G Tube made a huge world of difference for his little body.  He gained over 10 lbs in the 2 months since his surgery & is doing beautifully.  He still has immunity issues but we'll get there.  I don't want to jinx anything by saying he's out of the woods but he is heading in the right direction for a change & for the first time in months I feel like it's okay to take deep breaths again.  Thank you to all who offered encouragement, support, prayers, love & laughter.  Anytime you want to know more about Liam's journey head on over to our family blog here.

thank you photo: Thank You Thankyoudance.gif
Next THANK YOU so very very very much to K Muse & to Dongsaeng for putting up with this very silent & completely unhelpful Unnie over the last 6 months.  If not for you guys, this labor of love of ours would have died a fast death.  You kept us going & even helped us thrive beyond our dreams.  Which is probably a reflection on how much I am not needed but I don't care you have to keep putting up with me.  I may disappear every once in a while but you people are stuck w me!

It would seem that uri dongsaeng let the cat out of the bag already, for the first time in months, this weekend I sat down & watched K Dramas.  6 hours worth of K Dramas nonetheless!  It was like manna from heaven for my weary soul.  I wanted to watch them over the last few months but A) have been way too busy taking care of my son & the rest of my motley crew and B) couldn't handle the extreme drama, when I had actual real life drama pulling me under.  It was too much emotionally for this mommy to handle all at once.  So I had to take a real break from all things KDrama.  I still had my tunes though.  Thank goodness for KPop!!

When last we spoke, I was supposed to be doing reviews, per episode, of The Master's Sun, but then things got bad around my neck of the woods & I had to stop what I was doing & go into offensive mode for my son's health.  Well on Saturday night I finished off TMS' last 3 eps.  Sigh....where to begin.  First, I am not going to do a detailed review/recap. It's been too long for one of those.

Cliffs Notes version:
He gets his memories back, he pays off her contract w Madame Go, he is still in love with her, she is still in love with him,  BUT she is afraid of herself & of the life she leads & that it could put him in danger, so she tries to leave.  First she helps him solve the whole Hee Joo vs Ha Na fiasco.  Yay.  I thoroughly enjoyed Little Sun's over the top stomachache/appendicitis on the plane.  Seriously so funny!  Then she finds the guy that her spirit hung out with for 3 years while she was comatose and it's him she is leaving with.  She comes back, that age old K Drama plot of a year later (or 2 or 3 or 5 whatever) & they have the happily ever after reunion, after she proves she is good enough for him?  What?!?  I get she has pride & all & I can't completely blame her but really, it irked me.  Just another device to keep them apart until the last minute. Ugh.

Okay personally, I thought ep 16 was boring.  It dragged on & on.  It had it's cute moments of course.  But blah blah blah, it was quite obvious they were just stalling for time.  By episode 17 they picked things back up, about 1/2 way through 17, but eventually.  It had a happy, cute, everything tied up in a neat little bow ending, but it left me underwhelmed all in all, after such great episodes all the way through. I think they should have simply ended it in 16, not pushed for that extra episode, just for ratings.  And yes they kissed & yes it was okay, but once again, underwhelming.  After everything this couple went through & the amazing chemistry they had together, there really should have been a little more umph in that last kiss.

Best part of the ending for me was that his aunt got to be pregnant.  I thought that was incredibly weird but very sweet.  Maybe she'll grow a heart after all.  And how cute were Kang Woo & Little Sun at the end walking the red carpet.  All in all I'll give TMS a standard 8.5.  It had the potential for a 10 but the last 2 eps were hum drum & did not live up to the rest of it.  BUT at least the Hong Sisters didn't pull another Big.  I'd have had to crack some heads otherwise.

And yes, I have finally started watching my Hyun-y, KHJ's new drama Inspiring Generation.  I have only made it through ep 3, so I am looking forward to seeing my man in ep 4 but I have to say the kid they picked to play him young, is awesome.  Major acting chops.  They did a phenomenal job casting him as a young Shin Jung Tae.  I can't wait to dive back in after I get some chores done.  I spent this weekend sick, again & am still recovering bronchitis.  Yes again.  I swear 5 times in less than 2 years on major antibiotics, breathing treatments, codeine cough syrup & steroids I am beginning to think WI is trying to kill me.  O.O

Before I sign off I have one awesome announcement, next month I will be in Merrillville, Indiana to watch BAP LIVE in concert.  And who bought me these tickets?  Well my Captain Awesome, no less.  How great is my guy?!?!?  I didn't even know they were coming here.  I have been so focused on my kids that I hadn't even paid any attention to anything.  So I will be heading out April 19th for a girls weekend w one of my favorite people.  Yay us!  I so totally need this break.  It has been an insane 6 months!!!!!

I have missed all of my fellow addiKts so much & have thought about you daily.  I cannot promise that I will start doing episode by episode recaps again, I simply don't have the time or energy but I will continue to post & talk to you again weekly.  I promise.  And trust me I will talk about KHJ's drama every opportunity I get.  So look for me on Twitter, FB & here.  Sending all my love out into the Blogosphere.

To give you something to enjoy & to help you get moving & smile here is Super Junior_M's Korean version MV of "Swing".  So much cuteness & eye candy!  I am awake now!  Now that's what I'm talking about!

Im Chang Jung “Open the Door” : My new favorite MV of 2013

So as an "all things Korean" fan I have to admit that for me it is 80% all about the drama with the other 20% filled with Kpop.  And so it will be rare that I will mention music unless it relates back to a drama.  However this song, and more importantly, the video totally made my day.  It is funny, filled with a whole truckload of cameo's (Super Junior's Heechul, U-KISS, Kim Soo Ro, Kim Jae Dong, Cho Dal Hwan, Jung Sung Ho, Yoon Da Hoon, Bobby Kim, DJ DOC, Solbi, Choi Daniel, Lee Jong Hyuk, Yoo Se Yoon, and more).  I know that I am a few weeks behind on sharing this but feel that it is one of those MV's that should be shared with all.  So please enjoy Im Chang Jung “Open the Door”.

Unnie's Wednes...uh...Thursday Write Up... scheduling conflicts of interest.

Sorry this is a day late guys but I managed to somehow get, not one, but two viruses this week, from my kids.  First a stomach bug, that was fun, (sarcasm) & now I am fighting a nasty little head cold.  It's perfectly normal & rational that, at this very minute, the temptation to chop off my own head is normal, right?  My forehead feels like it's going to explode, my glands are swollen, it hurts to turn my neck & my ears are filled with pressure from the congestion, as are my sinuses.  Needless to say, I have spent most of this week sleeping too.  2 viruses in 1 week, that has to be a record right?  I'm telling you this does not bode well for this next school year, that already we are getting sick.  Sigh.

So today's Wednesday Write Up will be short.

Originally, I had planned on doing this yesterday, but my head hurt too much to stare at any kind of computer screen, which is why this would have made more sense yesterday, sorry.  AddiKts, don't forget that Wednesday's episode of The Master's Sun is delayed to Thursday as a special showing of The Thieves was shown on Wednesday, holiday programming for Chuseok.  How The Thieves is more Chuseok related than The Master's Sun is, I haven't the foggiest.  I have the feeling the station felt the ratings would drop so much due to the holiday that they decided to air a different show until more people would be able to watch & keep the ratings up.  Next week they will air episode 14 & 15 on their regular dates & then the final episode, 16, will air the following week on the 2nd of October.  Now here is where I am not sure what is going on.  One site, which now I can no longer find, said that there will be a special behind the scenes/making of The Master's Sun airing the following day but another site, said it was an extension of the show, meaning 17 episodes.  Whether the 17th episode is the special or it's another actual episode & then they will air the special I have no idea.  I tend to believe the allkpop article since I can no longer find the other one.  Guess we'll have to wait & see.  Then the following week Heirs will debut.

The other thing I wanted to talk about was the news that Kim Hyun Joong's latest Kdrama, "Inspiring Youth", has been postponed until next year.  In a move, very reminiscent of the City Conquest debacle, there is apparently a problem with dates, due to Chinese holidays, for the scheduled filming. Because of the mix up, shooting has been delayed, instead they will be airing Jang Keun Seuk's new drama, "Beautiful Man".   Upon reading that this morning I was disappointed, frustrated & yes almost resigned to the feeling it was going to all fall apart like CQ did.  I never should have watched King of Dramas, it all smells like a conspiracy to me.  Someone wants to stop KHJ from being in dramas.  But why?   KHJ who did you piss off?  o.O   So pray, burn incense, sacrifice on an altar, send positive vibes or happy thoughts, sprinkle fairy dust if you need to, but everyone we must work together to get KHJ back on the air in a drama!!

As a way of saying sorry for this being late I thought you guys might enjoy a couple fan made videos of TMS that I have seen on various friends FB feeds this past week.  As well as the new OST from SIG for the drama.  I also wanted to share this meme that Uri Dongsaeng made after watching last week's TMS cliffhanger.  If you are on Pinterest & want to share it, you can find it here.

Enjoy have a beautiful rest of the week & I will see you tomorrow for more TMS review.

Music Fest for our Monday Therapy {Monday Morning Therapy with Dongsaeng}

How is everyone's Monday going?  Ready for a little therapy?  I don't have a ton to discuss today, but I did find a lot of really fun videos last night that I wanted to share.  As I laid there in bed last night watching YouTube video after YouTube video from that day's musical show performances, it hit me just how fortunate we are right now as KPop fans.  The summer of 2013 has brought us just awesome music, hasn't it?  The music scene in Korea is just exploding and pumping out one hit right after another.  It's difficult at times to even keep up with the amount of awesomeness being poured out onto the music scene.

So this post will just have some of my favorite performances from the weekend.  And maybe some other stuff.  We'll see what catches my attention.  I hope that you find something here that will help you tackle the rest of your Monday and get you pumped up for the rest of the week.

Enjoy!  And feel free to share any of your favorite videos that maybe I missed either in the comments or on our FB page.

Here's the breakdown:  The first group is for my VIPs out there.  Lots of GD and Seungri from Inkigayo and M-Countdown.  Then there's some other performances from Sunday's Inkigayo of groups I like (Teen Top, Nu'est, Henry, and BAP).  Then there's the Japanese version of BAP's Warrior MV that wad just released a couple of days ago.  I know what you're thinking, it's Warrior, we've seen that already, but no, if you haven't seen this version yet, trust me, you'll want to.  It's awesome and amazing.  Watch it fast though - my sources warn me that Japanese videos often don't stick around for long before they're yanked off the interwebs.  (Hey Japan, maybe that's why KPop is so popular around the world and in your country because they're not stingy when it comes to sharing the love and making the music accessible - hint, hint)  And finally, last but most certainly not least, I put up JYJ's new release, "Only One" that they did for the 2014 Asiad games in Incheon.  I already gave my opinion on this video on my FB page, but in case you missed it, I'll tell you here as well what I think about it.  I'm going to put it down below though after the video so as to not spoil it ahead of time.  If you can't find something on this list that you like, then I just don't know what to tell you.  Hopefully there's something here for everyone.  Okay, there aren't any girl groups.  You got me there, but otherwise, I think we covered a good portion of the recent musical gamut.

My thoughts on the JYJ video....

The boys look AMAZING!  Especially my Jae and I don't say that just because I'm biased.  Yeah, of course I'm biased, but he looks absolutely spectacular here.  The song itself is catchy in a "you're never going to get it out of your head if you're not careful and it will drive you insane at some point" kind of way. And the video, oh the video.  Cheesy fantasticness.  If you're going to go cheesy, go all the way I say, and they certainly did here.  One can't help but smile.  It's a happy, cheerful song.  Super duper sugary sweet cheesy goodness.  Enough to warm even the most cynical of hearts.  If this can't make you smile, well, then I just don't know what will.  They definitely tried their best.  I love Korea!

Unnie's Wednesday Write Up: Kim Hyun Joong's Unbreakable

Dear AddiKts,

I'm writing to you, today, to let you know our beloved Unnie has finally succumbed  to the mental descent into a world filled with nothing but her bias, Kim Hyun Joong.  Yes, Unnie is in her heaven & she's much happier there.  I should go back to earlier in the week & help explain just what happened to put our Unnie into such a state of obsessed mania, the final snap in her mental acuity so to speak.

It all started late Wednesday night.  Unnie had just finished drama-thoning All About My Romance & was checking FB one last time before retiring for the night.  If only she hadn't thought to check, she might still be with us.  But alas, check FB she did.  We all know how much our Unnie loves Kim Hyun Joong but this time her love for him is what ultimately led to this mental break.  As she opened her newsfeed to FB, one of the first posts she found belonged to the Official KHJ Facebook Page, it was the announcement for his latest single/MV, "Unbreakable".  Unnie excited at the prospect of seeing her bias singing & dancing in all his sexy glory on her iPad was too much for her to wait until morning.  So she opened up the MV in Youtube & that's when Unnie left this real world forever.

What a sight greeted her upon her arrival.  Oh if only they had stopped at images like this....

But no the powers that be wanted to not just enthrall but enrapture our Unnie to the point of no return & so they continued on & on until finally these images are what did our Unnie in....

And ending with the following mind blowing, ovary exploding moments of the video.

Is it any wonder our Unnie couldn't stand up to the mind blowing dancing, sexy, thrusting images of her bias as he danced & sang his way into her soul?  Poor Unnie *sigh* she never saw it coming.  And that is why we mourn her mental loss but we celebrate her happiness.  She has gone beyond our world & is in a much happier place.  Do not cry for her, do not pity her, no head shaking or saying "I told you so" for her, no we must be happy for our Unnie.  For those interested the "Asylum" WILL give her care packages, after all she isn't a danger to herself or others. But please no KHJ items as they send her into a renewed frenzy & then they have no choice but to sedate her further.  The physicians are working around the clock to bring our Unnie back from her mental breakdown.  Will she be the Unnie we've all come to know & love so much?  Only time will tell.

Sincerely,
The Management

*****Disclaimer #1: No this was NOT a real letter, I am find & dandy.....sort of...****

******Disclaimer #2: All of the images were found on the KHJ Official Facebook page, they are not mine.*****

KHJ's newest MV was phenomenal!!!  And I have watched it myself, at least 40 times, give or take, since it's release!!  Seriously, they should have put a warning on that video!  I blame Keyeast for not properly warning viewers & fans of the danger to their mental well being if they viewed Unbreakable.  So before I share it on here I will add my own warning label.

*************WARNING***************
The following video is will cause hot flashes, ovary explosions & quite possibly pregnancy.  Watch at your own expense!  You've been warned, proceed with caution.

And if that weren't hot enough, they also released the video of his latest photo shoot w Star1, the day before the MV released.  And yeah....so incredibly handsome.  Thank you Lord for Kim Hyun Joong!!  Thank you so much!

Let's just say I had to give a warning to my friends & family on Facebook, following my private profile, that I was going to be blowing up my Pinterest Feeds, & that for any of them following me, they might want to "Un-follow" my Pinterest acct for Jess Unnie.  I pinned somewhere around 300 pins that day, of just KHJ.  Bringing the grand total for my probably really unhealthy addiKtion to 2766.  *SMH* See it's admissions like this, that keep me from wanting to meet my bias in real life.  Just sayin'.  What do you say to the guy you have almost 3000 pictures of?  "Um...yeah Hi, I swear I'm not as cray cray as I seem online."  I figure that my pinning pics of him may be unhealthy BUT I do it for his safety & I consider it a bonus that keeps me from being arrested for creating an International "Incident" & of course goes without saying, the inevitable restraining order.  Win Win.  ^^

Well, that's it for this week's squee fest for KHJ.  Come back next week, I'm pretty sure I'll still be squeeing away.  In the meantime would you please go VOTE for Unbreakable at EYK for his video to be reviewed for one of their awesome KPop Music Mondays?  Pretty Please?!?!  As of Saturday night, when I actually wrote this post he was #7 on the charts.  When I get back from my vacation I'd really like to see him in the somewhere in the Top 3.  Thank you guise.  I KNEW I could count on you to help me out.  I've never seen a KHJ review on EYK.  They may have done one, a long time ago, but I've not been able to find it in the archives.  It would be really nice to see my #1 getting some spot light from them.

Have a wonderful week ladies & gents.

Saranghamnida,

P.S. Do you see how they are killing me?!?!?!

This is me at this point...

This picture found on Pinterest though.

Unnie's Wednesday Write Up: {{Fan Girling All Over the Place!}}

I don't have a lot of time AddiKts.  My parents are in town, 4th of July was yesterday, my youngest's 7th birthday is today, & I'm trying to help my teen get packed for 2.5 weeks of sleep away camp in Northern WI, which he leaves for tomorrow morning, at the crack of dawn.  It's been just a tad bit busy in this house this week.  Okay it usually is pretty busy but this week is on steroids!  So Just 2 things of great importance that I am squeeing about & have to freak out & let my fan girl go Krazy for & no other place, I can think of, I can go, & have a little KPop happy dance, is better than this here K everything blog.  ;)

Now unless you were in a cave somewhere, incapacitated by a coma, or off planet, then you know that Junsu's latest single, off his latest album, finally dropped in iTunes around the world.  Along w the most amazing MV!!  If not then let me tell you all about it & listen to me while I go totally fan girl insane!  No really.  Ask my kids.  You guys know I heart The Junsu.  Like seriously, I heart him as one of my favoritest of the favorites!  He has the most divine voice & he is so cute, funny, talented, incredibly sexy.  There is KHJ, Bae Young Joon, Junsu, Kang Ji Hwan & then GD.  My TOP 5 crushes.

So I watched his MV first thing Tuesday morning, still laying in bed dazed & trying to wake up fully while I  watched the MV.  Which of course, since I was still waking up meant that I HAD to watch it only about  5000 times in a row {{& somewhere in there purchase the single off  iTunes}}.  It's still being played repeatedly over my iPod.  Oh Junsu your voice is ah-mazing!  The MV starts off the 1st half in total a Capella.  Just the purity of Junsu's beautiful voice.  Then the piano comes in very softly & at the same time the filters on the MV change very subtly.  It was mesmerizing.  Perfectly suited to the song & the feelings they were going for.  Now Dongsaeng postulated that it would be awesome if the person playing the piano were none other than, JYJ group member Jaejoong, her idol.  I thought that would be perfect too.  So fingers crossed it is JJ.

Now the most amazing part of this video is two fold; one Junsu is singing completely LIVE w just nature sounds in the back ground & two the MV was done in ONE single shot/take.  No fancy editing.  just Junsu. Raw, emotional, moving & brilliantly talented.  I have to admit that lately MOST of the MVs that have been coming out have felt, to me, very cookie cutter, very random & chaotic with too much crap shoved it of everything that is supposed to be cool in an over the board attempt to be cool.  but when you try that hard to be cool well it isn't cool.  So I honestly haven't that big a fan of a lot of the MVs recently.  But this one blew my mind.  It was spectacularly simple.  Brilliantly simple.  I LOVED it.  As for the song itself...I think, again this my opinion, it's the perfect sad, break up , unrequited love song.  Perfect for gloomy days, sad days, days when I need a good cry.  It has an OST feel to it.  I could totally picture this song being used in one of those horribly sad breakup, lost love scenes in a K Drama.

But enough fan girling here is the MV.

Junsu 11 am MV

{{BTW, if you want the translation of the lyrics into English, click on the 'CC' button at the bottom of the MV}}...  Enjoy!

Junsu, even my 14 year old son, who prefers Dub step & Big Bang LOVED the MV, he was blown away.

And this brings me to my 2nd Fan Girl Krazed moment of today.  I got home from shopping with my kids to pick up the last of my teen's needs for camp & helping my 7 year old pick out his birthday present & found that a big announcement came through for my very first crush.

KIM HYUN JOONG is COMING BACK TO K Dramas!!!

According to Han Cinema he is anyway....  It doesn't say when BUT he IS coming back...provided that KDramaland doesn't disappoint us again.  {{AKA The City Conquest Debacle}}  The title of his next drama, date unknown, is "Generation of Youth".   Shanghai 1930s Film Noir.  I look forward to more details & will give them on the FB page or my Unnie FB/Twitter pages when I know more.

I CANNOT WAIT!!!  Is the understatement of the year!!

I have loved being able to see him every single week on Barefoot Friends.  I thoroughly enjoyed watching him lose his swim trunks this week racing (& losing) against little pro in training divers.  I have no idea what the BFF concept is for the show as it keeps changing its format & concept each week.  But I LOVE the cast, yes especially KHJ, & I believe they are finally getting comfortable with one another & the newbies are getting comfortable with a camera in their faces too.  So if you haven't BFF check it out when you get the chance.  The first few eps are slow & long but it has picked up its pace quite nicely, even though they still haven't figured out the purpose of the show.

And one last KHJ squee worthy video...

Finally he sings/performs Gwiyomi for his fans.  So cute!!!

Okay now I really need to get back to my family.  Have a great week & my parental units leave next Tuesday morning, I will work on getting those GFB reviews out to you as fast as I can starting Tuesday.  Thank you for your patience!

Saranghamnida,

Oooh! Shiny! {Monday-Was-a-Holiday Morning THERAPee with Dongsaeng}

Time for this week's Monday Morning Therapy.  We're going to ignore that it's actually Tuesday.  See, yesterday was yet another Monday holiday here in the States (President's Day).  This meant that the kids were out of school and the husband was off of work to round off his 5 day weekend, so we went out and partied all day.  Movie, candy store, mall and Grandma's house.  What a day, ay?  Notice how there just wasn't any room for blogging there?  :(  Sad, but true.  So, instead, you get to start off your Tuesday with me.  Hopefully for many this is your first "work day" of the week like me, if not, well, then, you know, Tuesdays can be rough like Mondays sometimes.  And even if not, any day is a good day for a little something SHINY.

Or, shall I say, SHINee???

That's right!  SHINee released their new album last night.  Now, I haven't even heard this yet, that's how new it is.  If you're a Shawol, you've PROBABLee heard it a million times after staying up late waiting ever so PATIENTLee for its release (I heard rumor that it was a tad TARDee in its arrival, but don't have confirmation on that and would hate to start such UGLee rumors).  There are two versions of the video that I'm going to include here - the official video and then the dance version.  Which do you prefer?  Let us know (enter shameless plug for validation here).

And with that I'm going to leave you for today.  I don't really have much to chat about, especially since I am just barely awake and the old gray matter is still dozing off up there.  Have a fantastic week.  And to those waiting for my FBND ep 12 review, it's on its way and will be here.... oh well, would you look at the time.  I gotta run!  ;)  Thanks for stopping by!  <3

Happy Birthday GD!

권지용 Kwon Ji Yong
(aka: 지드래곤 G Dragon, (G-D), Leader of the KPop Boy Band, Big Bang)

Celebrates turning 25 years old.

Or he did yesterday.  I mean today.  I mean yesterday it was 8-18 in Seoul & he celebrated his birthday.  Today it is 8-18, in the US, so The Crazy Ahjummas are celebrating his birthday today.

My point is....

TCA wants to shout out...

Happy Birthday G Dragon!!

지드래곤 생일축합니다!!

Saengil Chukahamnida Ji Deuraegon!!

Dongsaeng & I both met G Dragon, when we met all the Big Bang members.
When we saw their first MV off the "Alive" Album, Blue.

{{giggle - You didn't think we had actually met them did you?!?!  We wish!!}}

We both loved the song & the band & the guys!  What's not to love, right?  Maybe you don't know this but we kind of heart Big Bang, BIG time.  After "Blue" we couldn't wait to see their next MV & we didn't have to wait long, although if you had asked us at the time we'd have wined about the wait.  After "Bad Boy" came out, we went crazy waiting for "Fantastic Baby".  The teaser photos drove us both insane!

And then "Fantastic Baby" came out & it was officially, official.

They had us.
Big Bang would forever own these 2 crazy ahjummas!
And we spent many happy hours diving deep into the magic of YouTube looking up as many, Big Bang, G Dragon MV's, as we could get our greedy little Ahjumma hands onto.

But maybe you didn't know our multi-talented G Dragon has been a part of the music scene since he was 8 years old.   It would seem he has always been captivating.  There is just something so unique & special & amazing about G Dragon.

He is a sincerely talented man.  Songwriter, singer, rapper, dancer & fashionista! {^_-}  He also happens to have a great sense of humor & an amazing range of emotional expression.  I would love to see him as an actor.  I bet he would be intense!  Crazy talented & intense.  Totally swoon worthy, don't you think?

So please join us as we include our wishes, along with the rest of the G Dragon loving world, out to the crazy talented, shexy, sweet, cute, funny, intense man himself, G Dragon.

We hope you had an amazing Birthday Celebration surrounded by those you love best.

사란, (Love,)
누나 (Nunas)

Unnie & Dongsaeng
언느 & 동생

And now the G Dragon Pictorial.
Sincerely the best of the birthday posts is looking for pictures to include.
^_^

I LOVE this picture of him!

Dongsaeng loves this picture of him.

But honestly picking just a few pictures of this incredibly handsome, cute, sexy, funny, photogenic man is impossible.  Very rarely do I see a pic of him that doesn't capture my attention.  There is just something magnetic about him that just draws us in, right?  So I'm going to include lots of pics of G Dragon.

Working on his next solo album.
Looking intensely romantic while singing.

G Dragon the fashionista

Just being sexy.

I just HAD to do this picture of his incredibly CUTE smile!

Even w pink hair he makes us wild.
G Dragon Sees ALL. O_O!
Omo!!  I could seriously just post pictures of him all day long.  But I won't.  That would be weird, wouldn't it? o_O  None of these pictures belong to us.  You know the drill right?  Please do not claim them as yours.  They are for entertainment purposes only.  And for nunas like us to drool over.  ^_^  If you want to see more G Dragon pictures both Dongsaeng & myself have extensive collections on our Big Bang Pinterest Boards.  Feel free to hop on over & check them out.

I close with one more Happy Birthday wish to you G Dragon.  Because I KNOW that you are reading this right now! o_O  {{Okay maybe not. Why you gotta harsh my delusion guys?}}  We sincerely wish him the very happiest of days.  25 is a big birthday.   Congrats on hitting the quarter century mark G Dragon.  Please keep sharing your amazing talents w/ all of us & we'll promise to keep sending our love, encouragement & support right back to you.

Unnie & Dongsaeng
(Nunas to you G Dragon)

{Monday Morning Therapy with Dongsaeng}: What the What?!

Dear AddicKts,

As addicKts, we have at some point or another learned a hard lesson.  The hard reality that is Korean dramas - sometimes a drama that has proven to be exemplary for 15 episodes - leaves us falling flat on our face on the very last episode.  We reach that moment, so excited to see the dramatic conclusion, only to walk away afterwards feeling cheated and wondering what we are doing with our lives.  Staring blankly at a computer screen as it gradually dawns on us that that is it.  There is no more.  That's where they're leaving it.  We are disappointed.  We are frustrated.  We may even be a little angry for we have invested so much of ourselves in to this story only to leave us dangling and empty.  We here at TCA understand.  We too have been there.  That dreadful moment that all drama addiKts fear when taking on a new drama.  Will this one leave us battered and bruised at the end or fulfill our wildest dreams and fantasies?  It's a gamble we all take when embarking on a new and untested drama.  This dreaded moment has struck many of us recently.  Yes, fellow addicKts, this ahjumma has heard and has felt your frustration with the 16th and final episode of a particular show this past week.  Yes, Big, we're talking about you today.

One reader said it perfectly with the following insightful query, "What the What?!"  Yes indeed, what the what was that? is the question on all of our minds.  What kind of ending was that?  What loose ends were tied?  Pretty much nothing.  Does anybody end up with anybody?  Who knows.  About all that we do know is that Yoon Jae and Kyung Joon do end up switching back to themselves, neither one of them having memories of events post accident.  Ooohkay....so as far as he knows, Yoon Jae is still engaged.  Does he not contact Da Ran?  Does his family tell him there's another guy (oh, and by the way, it's your little brother)?  What about the other characters?  What is it, a year goes by and.....  What?  What the heck is going on?  Gil Da Ran is teaching at that other school.  Okay.  Then there's the "reenactment" of the first time she met Kyung Joon on the bus.  In and of itself, it's pretty cool.  I even kind of liked the back and forth between Kyung Joon when he was still Yoon Jae and her talking about what they would do.  It was all good.  Except there's no real resolution.  At all.  And we never ever even see the face of Kyung Joon - just a body shielded by an umbrella.  Any face shots are Yoon Jae.  Poor Shin Won Ho (the guy that plays Kyung Joon) - other than the first episode, the guy gets no screen time awake and speaking (well, other than the occasional flashback).  Almost his entire appearance in this drama is spent asleep in bed.  I really, really wanted to see him come back.  Was it just too icky to actually show the teacher with her student?  Maybe.  I mean, that kind of really did bother me a little throughout the show as they were falling in love.  I could never quite get past that hurdle of "but she's his TEACHER!"  So I suppose that was a reason why they don't show them together.  Well, that and the fact that when you have a leading man such as Gong Yoo, you don't give the final scene to a younger lead.  I get it, but c'mon!  There had to be some way of fitting him in.

And don't even get me started on the whole "treatment" and "mystery disease".  So, can anyone explain to me how Yoon Jae started receiving treatment but then stopped?  For a long time.  And then he went off to Germany to finish it?  What?  That whole thing was just confusing.  I understand for the plot's sake that he had to still be in Korea for the part where they start to switch back but Kyung Joon says he needs more time.  Speaking of what I'll just call Treatment #1/the ALMOST switch...  Why was Kyung Joon's body in bed while Yoon Jae spoke to himself?  Well, while the Kyung Joon Yoon Jae spoke as the Yoon Jae Yoon Jae reached out his hand and said not a word.  Why three people in that scene?  Why not Kyung Joon speaking to Yoon Jae as himself?  They really must not have wanted to give poor Shin Won Ho any speaking lines past that first episode.  That whole scene was hard to follow, trying to figure out who was who.  Sure, the Kyung Joon Yoon Jae's hair was more rumpled whereas the Yoon Jae Yoon Jae was all nicely coifed and "doctory" so that made it sooo obvious.  ????  Weird.  Anyway, so obviously, they still needed to be in Korea and close to Da Ran so that Kyung Joon could wrap things up there.  For some reason.  Could that not have happened before?  What purpose was served by him coming back and supposedly forgetting, only to turn around and not have forgotten?  Practice round I guess???  By this point I was already lost. And confused.  But then they take off to Germany for the treatment, I suppose again, for the plot's sake to get away from Da Ran.  To get characters where they needed to be for the storyline.  But why not make the story fit one location whether Germany or Korea or the friggin moon?  I hate it in shows where the continuity goes out the window in order to make situations work.  Write it better, don't just randomly jump back and forth to make it fit and expect us to just accept it without a second thought.

Big had potential, but now it's just another one on the list of Unsatisfying Endings.

I think the Hong sisters and I may just have to part company.  I might give them one more chance, but they're really going to have their work cut out for them to convince me.

In other drama finales, I also finished I Do, I Do.  That one was a decent enough ending.  Nothing spectacular, but not horrible.  One little issue....  Okay, so Ji An decides to become president of the shoe company while Tae Kang starts his own line of heels for pregnant women.  He had asked her to join him, but she ultimately decides that her time at the company isn't quite over yet.  Fine.  All good.  But then we have a 5 month time jump.  And when we reconvene, we are given the impression that in those 5 months, our two leads haven't seen each other.  Almost like they broke up.  I understand you were both extremely busy being a CEO and starting a new business.  But really?  5 months with no contact?  Is work truly that all encompassing?  Granted, it's a sweet reunion with a yummy SWAK moment.  That SWAK moment is made even better when her water breaks at that moment and she is rushed to the hospital.  I loved how she was in labor and screaming at him for doing this to her, but then she proposes.  I was a funny scene.  Wayy too overdone in labor scenes across the world, but still, cute.  But did anyone else notice how afterwards, everyone runs into Ji An's room and not a single person asks about the baby?  Maybe it's different in Korea, I don't know.  I've only given birth twice, but both times the baby was kind of the star of the show and the person everyone wanted to see.  As the mother, you're there as the bringer of the baby, not much else.  All attention is focused on that new little life.  But in this scene, the baby was like an after thought.  Just struck me as odd, that's all.  Not really trying to complain, just curious if anyone else had noticed it.  I was sad that we didn't get to see the family together at the end, other than a "dream" by Ji An where "Ankle" was already like 5.  Never do we see the new mom and dad lovingly cradling their newborn.  That magical moment where three people become a family.  Sigh.  Oh well.  I'll just have to imagine it in my head.

All told, it wasn't the best ending, but it wasn't the worst either.  It just...was.  I enjoyed this drama but think that overall it will fall away to the "I don't really remember much about it" recesses of my memory like so many others.  A few stand out as either amazing or not-so-amazing where the others just kind of meld into a "sure, it was good but don't ask me anything about it because I don't remember much" category.  If you like shoes, watch it.  If you like a few romantic moments, watch it.  If you think Lee Jang Woo is just the most adorable if not entirely sexy guy, watch it.  If you are a fan of Kim Sun Ah, then sure, watch it.  If you don't like her, whether in this drama or others, don't watch it expecting her character to change and suddenly become bubbly and cute.  It doesn't.  She pretty much stays constant throughout.  I know that her character threw a lot of people off.  Personally, I was fine with her, but I can see where she might be a little off-putting to others.  She warms a little towards the end, but not a whole lot.  So, do with that what you will.

Now that 2 of my 5 drama slots are empty, I've had to look for replacements.  I've jumped back into Bridal Mask and am still playing catch up with that one.  I believe I'm somewhere in episode 10 or 11.  So far, so good with that one still.  I do have one little sniggling issue with it.  Why does NO ONE ever notice the fact that the new Bridal Mask is like half the size of the old one?  Especially Mok Dan who has been the closest in proximity to him on multiple occasions?  For people who seem so finely tuned to minute details in faces and body shape (who ever looks swollen in the face to you when they are supposedly swollen from crying or eating ramen? - just saying), they are oddly blind to the fact that Kang To is a lot smaller than Kang San was.  Like a LOT smaller.  And thinner.  And their faces look totally different, even in the mask.  But not one person picks up on that.  Not very observant, are they?  Other than that little teeny tiny issue (and obviously for the story's sake the characters shouldn't pick up on it - they are all to still believe that there is only one Bridal Mask and he hasn't changed, but still....), I am loving this drama.

I've also added a new drama to my currently watching list and that is I Need Romance 2012.  Never having seen or even heard much about I Need Romance 2011, I didn't know what to expect, but a friend was watching it and loving it, so I jumped on the bandwagon.  I am really enjoying it.  It's a lot more mature than any drama I have ever seen (read: they talk a lot about sex).  I think of it as the Korean drama version of Sex in the City.  I'm somewhere around 6 or 7 episodes in and am a fan.  I especially like that it's one of those rare dramas where each episode is only 45-47 minutes long instead of the typical 1:05-07.  It makes it clip along at a nice pace and is easier to fit in to a schedule.  I love the main female lead, Joo Yeol Mae played by Jung Yoo Mi.  She's beautiful and fun to watch.  And the two men in her life, Lee Jin Wook as Yoon Suk Hyun and Kim Ji Suk as Shin Ji Hoon are hot and gorgeous of course.  About half the time I sit there and wonder how they got so much past the censors (some of it makes Junsu's Tarantallegra look like bubble pop), but I guess the censoring doesn't work like I think it does.  Maybe it's like here where they can do pretty much anything they want as long as they slap the TV-14 or TV-MA on it and show it late enough at night.  Maybe.  Probably.  But never having been there, I can't say for certain.  Either way, it's a drama that is helping me get through my Gentleman's Dignity withdrawals.

And that does it for me and my ramblings this morning afternoon.  I hope your weekend was fantabulous and that your Monday is stacking up to be a winner as well.

For today's Monday morning prescription, I leave you with an oldie, but goodie - DBSK's Mirotic.

Sometimes you just need to hear a familiar song and see some familiar caramel abs faces to help you through your Monday.

I have an assortment of viewing options here for you today - the original MV, the dance version and then the Korean version, so take your pick.  Or do what I did and watch all three.  On a continuous loop.  Eyes wide open, mouth agape, drooling slightly.

P.S.  I am so relieved that I came into the KPop world post-DBSK break-up, otherwise I think my heart would have been shattered by it all.  I am a big JYJ fan and I like TVX2 okay, put them all together and... wow oh wow.  I join with the throng and hope that someday the 5 can reunite, though honestly, as time passes, that looks less and less likely.  :(  It would be a dream of mine to see DB5K all on stage together.  They have a great sound all together that you just can't get in the splinter groups, as AWESOME as they are.  Sigh.  Oh the sad sad life of a Cassie, huh?  Either way, I hope you enjoy a little Mirotic on this Monday Morning.

Until next time,

*Edited* Unnie's Wednesday Write Up: How do you stalk your bias?

Welcome back to another edition of Unnie's Wednesday Write Up AddiKts.

It has been a long & dreary day here at Unnie's house.  Started my day w bad news & have struggled all day long maintaining my "happy face" facade.  Mostly because it's summer, so "the monstrosities" are all home with me, & I try really hard to not let them see me lose it.  Needless to say, I had a stinky kind of day here in Wisconsin.  I spent a good portion of it trying to hide from the reality that is stalking me a lot more often than it used to.  Sorry AddiKts I try really hard to keep my real life from interrupting my job as "Unnie International Bloggess".  But there are some days when reality is so strong that it kind of pushes it's way into every facet of me.  This was one of those days.  It was hard to be happy when I woke up to the news that my online support family, was saying goodbye to another "he's way too young (only 25) to die" sufferer of A-T.  The rare genetic disease that my 11 year old son was diagnosed with at age 4.  If you have read my "Unnie" page at the top of this here awesome blog then you know to what I am referring, if you haven't then check it out or better yet follow the link, to the A-T Children's Project, at the top instead.    But the day is almost over....and I survived the sad & I survived the fear & I did so without screaming or crying or railing at fate, destiny, God whatever it is at which people find themselves railing.  Yay me!!

So while trying to distract myself today I did the following things...

  • Stayed in bed, in my pjs, till 10am, reading a book.
{{It was nirvana for my tired soul.}}

  • Caught up on my Hulu Queue & watched Monday's episode of Eureka.
{{Yes, I still watch U.S. TV}}

  • Checked Facebook, TCA & Pinterest numerous times.

{{Avoided any emails & text messages from family & friends offering condolences & kindness, because I knew that would push me over the edge.}}

  • Finally took the time to sit & read Dongsaeng's reviews for Dr Jin.  Don't you love her reviews?? She's kind of awesome!
{{BUT don't tell her I said that, her head's already inflated enough as it is.}}

  • Finally took the time to read her MMTwD Ahjumma Article.  Again I am jealous of her having a sister like Ms. Luckypants McGee who knows how to hook her sis up!  Where's my K Love Ms LpMcG ?!?!

  • Watched a couple episodes of Big on Viki.  Love Gong Yoo.
{{Avoided a few more comforting text messages & two more phone calls}}

  • Remembered, during my watching Big, that today was Gong Yoo's birthday & wrote on FB-TCA & TCA a birthday tribute.  Best part was looking up his yummy pictures.
{{Don't you wish you had my job?!?!  Giggle}}

  • Went upstairs after dinner & applied my official "Happy Face" & brushed & styled my hair, so that I could accomplish my next task w/out anyone asking me "what's wrong?".
  • Did some dishes & cleaned up the kitchen, played & cuddled w/ my monstrosities, and then made dinner & went to church.

During all this...
Okay, it was only 50 pins not 5000.  That's not bad though right?  Not when he brings me such joy, right?  Oh my!  Maybe I went overboard.  As this brought my total pins, for his board alone, to a grand total of 350 pins.

Can you blame me?  Look at how cute he is....

While contemplating my Extreme KHJ Pinning Habit, I began to wonder....

{{No, really!  It's okay for me to wonder, once in a while.  On a regular basis, it's just not a good idea, but every once in a while, it's okay}}

What is the proper way to stalk your bias?  Is there a proper way?  How does one go about becoming a successful stalker?  Is there a list of dos & don'ts somewhere?  And at what point should one sincerely seek professional help?

TCA VoKab Review: (for our newbies)
"Bias" means your favorite actor/actress/singer/model etc...  The one star that you cannot get enough of, the one you fantasize about.  The one that makes you "squuuueeeeee" the most, the loudest, the longest.  For me as you know, that is Kim Hyun Joong.  I love them all but KHJ is my "bias".

As for the don'ts I think they should include your basic info (also known as common sense):

  • You do NOT go to your bias's home.
He deserves a place that is safe for him, to not be a bias, but just a human being enjoying food, books, tv, video games or a swim without having to be ON GUARD at all times.
He's just a regular guy hanging w/ his friends.

  • You do not rifle through the garbage at his house or his office/company okay or anywhere else for that matter.
That's just nasty.  Have you thrown away something important accidentally & then realized you were going to have to rifle through your own garbage?  If you have, then you know it is disgusting in there.  No one should want that kind of nasty stuff as a keep sake.  Seriously!
  • You do NOT try to get a kiss, hug or grope without his knowledge or consent.

That's another form of rape & it's an absolute no-no!!  No you cannot consider their lack of an actual no to be a yes.  No consent is the same as a NO!  And NO, we all know, means NO!
  • You don't send him your hair, nails, or any other part of your body, this includes used clothing ie underwear!!
It's beyond gross.   For one thing those items usually end up in the trash, which if you remember from above it's just nasty to be digging through your garbage, or anyone else's garbage for that matter.

{{Bleck & shudder}}  8 P

Back to what we can do:
  • You must watch every TV show, interview, reality show, & movie in which your bias was a part.  No matter how small.
  • You must buy every single song/album he's ever made.
  • You must watch...  Every.  Single.  MV he's made or been a part.
  • You must buy & save every magazine, newspaper article that has ever been written about him.
  • You must, money permitting, go to every concert (this includes fan meetings) he gives.

Starting young is a definite must.  Isn't she cute?!?!

  • You must go to book signings, album signings, public appearances.

  • You must fantasize about your bias as much as possible.

I'm lending him for this post only...remember look, no touch.  Hands off, he's mine.  Just missing a stamp that says, "Property of Unnie" on his tushy. :)

Any kind of fantasy you want, no judgements here.   I prefer the clean romantic kind, like my beloved KDramas but I KNOW, that some of you, prefer a more "adult" fantasy, than I do.  The point is, it is your fantasy & he's your bias.  Fantasize away, my darling AddiKts.  Fantasize away!  My blessings I give you.

{{Unless you are trying to fantasize about my KHJ, he's busy in my fantasies, find your own bias & leave mine alone.}}

  • You must live in denial that your bias is someone else's bias as well.  You know...like me. ^_^
  • If you send fan mail?  Send nice, "Oppa?  Hwaiting!!" fan mail.
Not crazy, psycho "I wanna have your baby",  "we were meant to be together",  "I'm coming to see you oppa!!"  fan mail.  That kind of fan mail goes in the don'ts list above.  That kind of fan mail will NOT attract your oppa, I promise.  It will however attract the police after he reports you & gives them your letters.

  • Find out what your bias's fav charities are & donate or volunteer to help them, if you can.
He'll love your dedication & heart. Awww.  If you volunteer, be ready to roll up your sleeves & sincerely work hard (w/out whining about the labor or any of the conditions in which you find yourself working) & give it your all because it's a good cause & it's good to help those less fortunate than yourself.  It will make you proud of you, as much as it makes him proud of you.  And that's a win for you, a win for him & a win for the world around you.

And last but not least...
  • You must take a card from the "Unnie Way of Stalking Your Bias" ....pin!
Pin like a mad person!!  Pin till you can't pin anymore!!  Search out his image, his video clips, & pin them all onto a special Pinterest Board dedicated solely to him!!  Bwahahahahahaha!!!

I think if you follow the dos & not the don'ts you will be able to have a bias that loves his fans like my bias does his.  He loves them so much he dedicated his "Kiss Kiss" MV to them.  Awww ...  What a great bias I have, right?

In fact, it's my ringtone on my iPhone, I love the song so much.  And I want to share it with you guys...yes again!

So here it is from his Official YouTube Channel...
This proves my dedication to you guys that I am willing to share my bias, sort of, with you. ;)

BTW All the pictures in this post are screen shots I took from this MV. Please do not say they are yours. Technically, they belong to him & his company as I got them from KHJ's MV, on KHJ's channel. Thanks AddiKts...knew I could count on you!  And sorry for the grainy quality for some reason YouTube was not cooperating w/ quality.  If I get up the energy maybe I'll try to grab better quality shots tomorrow & use them instead.  MAYBE.

So what things would you add to the DO & to the DON'T list AddiKts!?!?  Come on I know you have more things to add.  Don't be shy!  Down there at the bottom of this post you can leave your opinions on proper stalking etiquette.  You don't want to be a Sasaeng Fan do you?!?!

Another TCA VoKab Review: (paying attention newbies?)
"Sasaeng Fans" are the supremely crazy break into your house just to try & kiss you fan.  They are bat crazy & need to be stopped.

That's it for this week's WWU.  I hope you had fun hearing my ideas for the best ways to stalk our bias'.  I apologize if this post wasn't what you hoped it would be.  I tried.  I really did try.  I even shared my bias, sort of, with you.  But I have a feeling this one is falling flat.  {{sad face here}}

**EDITED**  TCA's GIVEAWAY has closed & the winner announced.  Congratulations to the winner!!!

Oh! Don't forget the GIVEAWAY!!  I have a feeling that we won't get to it till tomorrow, late morning, before we announce the winner.  I know Dongsaeng was hoping I'd announce it in this post but I just don't have it in me tonight.  So we'll do a special TCA post tomorrow dedicated to the announcing of the winner.  So far though we only have 3 AddiKts that followed the entry rules completely.  So, I guess it's between 3 whole people.  Maybe we should Kai Bai Bo the winner. ;)  Just kidding.  We'll be using a 3rd party non invested website to help assign the winner.  But right now it's a 33.33333...% chance, who gets it.  But there is still time, thanks to my stinky day.  Hurry up & follow those entry rules & get your name entered into the drawing as well.  Who doesn't want free money or maybe it's free music instead?!?!  Crazy people that's who!!  Free stuff rocks!!  Enter while the entering is still good!

Until next week AddiKts...

Unnie's Wednesday Write Up: Musings & VoKabulary Lessons

YES MY WWU is going LIVE earlier than normal.  Almost a whole day earlier!!  You'll find out why soon...

This is going to be a short WWU this week AddiKts.  So many interesting things are happening around this here blog, don't you think?  Oh wait!!  You haven't heard yet.  I forgot!!  THAT post will go LIVE in a few more hours.  {{How's that for foreshadowing eh?}}

"You'll just have to waaaiiit."  >:)
{{said in my best singsong voice}}

Hmmm...what shall I talk about today?  Oooh!!  I know how about the fact that both Dongsaeng & myself each decided to open up new Facebook Profiles, so that you guys could "Friend" us if you wanted to?
{{We didn't do this  just because we want more friends btw.  Chincha!!}}  I had noticed that I had been getting quite a few friend requests from people I didn't actually know but no one was telling me how they knew me.  This made me somewhat nervous.  If I don't know you or know that you are an AddiKt like me, then why would I accept your friend request?  You could be nuts!  And that is saying something coming from a person like me. ;)

Plus, I noticed, I had a quite a few unknown persons as 'subscribers' to my FB posts, which totally cracked me up.  The mere fact that I, boring uninteresting me, mother of 4, had subscriber's to my boring FB posts?!  Who really wanted to know that my son was throwing up over Memorial Day weekend??  Exciting stuff that is, right?  {{lol}}  So I thought, IF you are an addiKted reader of this most Awesome Blog & you want to follow my posts on FB, or if you want to send another Friend Request, you can do it here.  {Dongsaeng's new profile is here.}That way I can see who is "trolling" & who is fascinated by my effervescent self. {^-^}  Friend Request Away AddiKts!  But please remember to tell me that you are a TCA reader, so I know you aren't a weirdo or a stalker.   ;)  That's totally my job!

So there's that.  Hmmm...let's see.  Ooh who else is excited that 2NE1 is about to come out with a new album?  I am so excited about this.  And the teaser posters & MV teaser trailers sound really good.  I say "sound" because they are still pics of each 2NE1 member alone & just a clip of their section of the new song.

Here I'll show you...

Teaser Poster for 2NE1:
Does NOT belong to us...Thank you YG family FB page.

Dara's Teaaser:

This also is NOT property of TCA but of YG FB page.

They're also embarking on their first world tour & will be in LA later this summer.  Very cool.  I just wish I could afford to see both Big Bang AND 2NE1, Live in concert, in the same year.  Anybody want to fly me out & put me up for the 2NE1 concert in LA?  I promise to come w/ lots of luggage & be a total nuisance while staying in your house.  You know I can clog your toilet, leave dirty dishes everywhere & rent a bunch of movies on your PS3 or cable provider?!?!  Anybody?  WHAT?!?!  NO takers on that offer at all?!?!  Sigh.  Guess it isn't meant to be then.  {{sad face}}  It's so hard being both a BlackJack AND a VIP!!  (those are the names of the followers of 2NE1 & BigBang for the newbies)

I was quite surprised that CA agreed to the Big Bang concert to begin with.  So, I didn't dare ask if I could fly across country twice in one year for 2 K-Pop concerts!!  But I think he feels sorry for me.  I haven't been home to see my family/friends in AZ in 2 1/2 years & I haven't had a vacation by myself in over 15 years.  The last time was before I had kids.  Everywhere I've gone, they've gone.  I think my poor pathetic sad face finally softened his heart.  What does seeing family & friends in AZ have to do w/ BB?  I'll be flying to AZ, where I will visit & have fun & then Dongsaeng & I are road tripping it to Cali.  Squuuuuueeeee!!!!  So super excited.  Now if only...

 YG would RELEASE THE ROTTEN STINKIN' PRICES & RELEASE DATES, FOR THE ROTTEN STINKIN' TICKETS. SO WE CAN GET OUR GAME FACE ON & MAKE OUR FINAL PLANS, FOR OUR ROTTEN STINKIN' "HAVEN'T BEEN ON VACATION BY MYSELF IN 15 YEARS ROAD TRIP OF FUN FUN FUN!!!!" I'D FEEL A LOT BETTER!!!!

YG Why you playin' me like this?!?!

{{Bienhaeyo, YG, I didn't mean to yell at you like that.  For loosing my cool?  Jongmal Bienhaeyo.}}

Sigh.  Now that I'm perfectly cool & rational again...

Oh that's right!  I was going to help our newbies out with a little voKab lesson in this post.

Hmmm...

So some of the more common phrases they may hear & not understand...

{{cos I'm so fluent in Korean, NOT!}}

Okay so..

Yah = HEY!!
chogi = Excuse me
bienhae = sorry
bienhaeyo = more formal sorry
Anyeong = hello
chincha = really, seriously
jongmal = really, a lot, very
Gamsahbnida/ Komowayo = Thank you
sarang = love
saranghae = love for your significant other
saranghaeyo = love to your parents
saranghabnida = love your friends
chingu = friends
jalja = sleep well, goodnight
Ottoke? = what do I do?
Chukae = Congratulations
Umma/Omoni = Mom/Mother
Oba/Abuji = Dad/Father
Halmoni = grandmother
Harabuji = grandfather
Oroshin = Elder
Ahjumma = you had better already know this one AddiKts. ;)
Ahjussi = same as Ahjumma but for a man.

In this post I already covered: Oppa, Noona, Unnie, Dongsaeng, Hyung...

And last but not least...

Daebak! = Awesome, Big Hit, it's said when something surprising happens or is said.  Although, I have also heard it used like our own "Awesome" is sometimes used, in a sarcastic not friendly way.  And it's pronounced, "Day-Bok"

That covers today's lesson.  These are the most common phrases you'll hear, especially in our fabulous KDramas.

Oh & and one more exciting thing, for me, is that they have announced the female lead in Kim Hyun Joong's new KDrama, which starts filming July 10th!!!  SQUUEEEEEEE!!!!

His new female lead will be.....
None other than Jung Yumi, who we last saw as the EVIL Se Na in Rooftop Prince.  How awesome!!  I cannot wait to see how she does as the innocent girl next door this time.  If she is anywhere as good as she was in RTP she'll be spectacular!!  Chukae Jung Yumi!!  Hwaiting!!

And in that same vein here is a City Conquest poster...
Isn't my Hyun-y yummy looking?!?!
SQUUUUUUEEEEEEEEEE!!!!
I CANNOT wait for this drama to start!!

AND just because this here is MY post, I am going to throw in another picture of Kim Hyun Joong.

Why?!?!

Duh!!  Why Not?!?!  Plus, it's my post & I'm one of the main creators, so I can do almost anything I want to & you guys will just have to deal with that!

{{Yeah, like looking at pictures of Kim Hyun Joong is so terrible, right?!?!}}

Can't you just hear him asking, "Do you Like That"?
{{That's a pun because of his song called, "Do you like that" from his "Lucky" Album.  Get it?  Oh whatever!! He's hott!!!}}

{{Giggle}}

BTW, I SO DO LIKE THAT!!
{{rowr!!}}

There you go AddiKts.  That pretty much covers my WWU for this week.  Check back for our big GIVEAWAY Post Announcement, w rules as to how you can get, whatever the heck it is we're giving away.  I wanted it to be really cool, you know like, an old used bike, that has flat tires. But "NOOOO!!!"  Dongsaeng was adamant, it had to be something you'd actually want.  Whatever!

I think today I will leave you with an incredibly cute moment of JYJ on stage.

Chincha!! I LOVED this when I found it on the JYJ Official FB pg this morning.

"Puing, Puing!!"  So incredibly cute!!

Sigh!!  These incredibly sexy men just melted my heart.

Saranghae Jaejoong, Micky & Junsu!  Jongmal Saranghae!!
{{but not as much as I saranghae Kim Hyun Joong-ssi, well Junsu is pretty close, rowr Xiah!!}}

Oh I totally forgot!!

Did you guys get a chance to see the new MV from SuperJunior???

Are you Sexy, Free & Single & Ready to Bingo too?!?!

You have to hear Dongsaeng talk about this one!  Seriously so funny!!  I want her to review it just so I can laugh myself silly!  :)  Who else would like Dongsaeng to review this MV?

Until next week's WWU AddiKts...
